Our mission is to provide safe, affordable, sustainable housing now and for the future generations.
SFN has 151 homes in total on the reserve. The Housing Department strives to maintain positive relationships with the tenants, collecting rent each month, keeping up with repairs, renovations, septic issues and delivers wood to elders in the winter months.
Minor renovations, carpentry, plumbing, and general home repairs are all part of the housing departments services. They also assist with the completion of, intake, and processing of housing applications, and any housing repair requests.
The Linda Krystina Safe House (LKSH) is a safe haven for women and children facing violence. Purchased by Chief and Council in 2017, it offers Indigenous teachings and healings to every aspect of its supports and programming.
It is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and provides short-term housing, meals, and meets other basic needs alongside services.
All member registration requests will be reviewed by the Saulteau First Nation staff. Once you have been verified you will be emailed instructions on how to log in to the members' only area of the website.
