Communications

The main goal for the Communications Coordinator is to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing to staff, community members on and off reserve, Chief & Council and any outside agencies.

The Communications Coordinator is responsible for the provision of planning, organizing, implementing and maintaining, the Communication Services for Saulteau First Nations.

Mainly responsible for updating the Nation’s Website, Monthly Community Newsletter, Nation’s Social Media Pages, Flyer Deliveries and providing information internally and externally to staff and the community.

Acting as a liaison between citizenship and leadership is also something the Communications Coordinator takes on, assisting all band members on and off reserve is a priority.

The Communications Coordinator plays a key role in mobilizing staff and community efforts to provide effective communication. They would also demonstrate effective resources management and coordination in ensuring that events are communicated clearly and in a timely matter to all staff and band members.
