The Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) has provided Saulteau First Nations with some COVID-19 relief funds. Chief & Council have decided to pay this benefit out to all members Head of Household on and off reserve.
Head of Household is a member who maintains the dwelling. Only one member per household will qualify for the benefit. Please read below the requirements to be eligible.
This a one time payment of $200 to help every household with the increasing cost of groceries during the pandemic. This payment will be in Canadian funds, therefore it cannot be wire transferred to the US or internationally.
A household bill indicating head of household and a pre-authorized deposit from your financial institution must be provided to be eligible.
A pre-authorized deposit (PAD) form from a financial institution must be provided in order for the payment to be made. These can also be obtained digitally from your online banking. This cannot be a bank account number in an email, nor can it be by text or other form. It must be a bank form from your bank institution.
The payment will occur in the month of March 2021. Banking information and receipts must be submitted before Feb 28, 2021 to qualify.
